ARTF : administrator's report on financial status as of September 22, 2014 (end of eighth month of FY1393) (英语)

As of September 22, 2014, the cash balance stood at United States (U.S.) 1,391.97 million dollars comprising: (a) U.S. 35.80 million dollars in the recurrent cost trust fund (excluding U.S. 50 million dollars in the designated account); (b) combined undisbursed balance of the Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Fund (ARTF) active investment portfolio of U.S. 941.34 million dollars; and (c) U.S. 12.39 million dollars reserved for the monitoring and supervisory agent, leaving a net unallocated cash balance of U.S. 352.44 million dollars. However, an unallocated and undisbursed balance under the incentive program (IP) of U.S. 84.70 million dollars, carried over from FY1392, and the new FY1393 IP funding of U.S 175 million dollars will in accordance with the memorandum of understanding be ring-fenced to be available for disbursement following technical reviews. The actual cash balance available for new investments is therefore only U.S. 91.83 million dollars. This report presents tabular data on: ARTF contributions for FY1393, as of September 22, 2014; ARTF consolidated sources and uses of funds; recurrent cost financing requirement for FY1393; ARTF financing strategy; actual and expected donor contributions; expressed donor preferences by projects; ARTF commitments and disbursements; and status and ratings of active and disbursing ARTF investment projects.
