This paper presents field experimental evidence that limited information about workseekers~^!!^ skills distorts both firm and workseeker behavior. Assessing workseekers~^!!^ skills, giving workseekers their assessment results, and helping them to credibly share the results with firms increases workseekers~^!!^ employment and earnings.
