From Santiago to Bangkok, Cleaner Air Brings Healthier Lives (法语)

Each year, pollution kills 8.9 million people worldwide, mostly in developing countries, but it is a solvable problem. Anti-pollution actions taken in fast-growing cities like Bangkok and Santiago bring health and economic benefits to local residents. Through a new program on Pollution Management and Environmental Health, the World Bank continues to work with countries worldwide to reduce pollution for improved health.
