The development objective of the Local Level Nutrition Interventions for the Northern Province Project for Sri Lanka is to reduce the compounded effects of the global food and financial crisis on the displaced populations in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka, by reducing malnutrition rates among pregnant and lactating women and children below five years of age.
