The ASA will conduct a schooling deprivation assessment, that explores the scope and potential impact of schooling deprivation (reduced teaching hours because of infrastructure and teacher constraints) on student learning. The rapid assessment will review international literature on the impact of schooling deprivation, collate existing data on class hours, and interview teachers, administrators, student parents and experts on the topic.
