Wildfires in Argentina have been responsible for the evacuation of 20,469 people, causing extensive injuries, destruction of thousands of educational centers, and damage to 11.3 million hectares of crops between 1970 and 2015. Loss, damages, and costs from wildfires are increasing, posing a significant threat to public health and environmental quality.
